This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on academy.undecided.tech, run by Undecided Media, LLC.
The short version
The academy only stores what it needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner on this site.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website places on your device. Websites can also store information in your browser in a similar way, called "local storage".
What we store

Your lesson progress stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.
Our staff also use a sign-in cookie when they manage the site. It is never set for students or visitors.
Videos
Our course videos are hosted by Vimeo. We use Vimeo's "do not track" setting, so the video player does not set tracking cookies or collect viewing statistics about you.
Payments
When you buy a course, you pay on a checkout page run by Stripe, on Stripe's own website. Stripe may set its own cookies there, for security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to sign in to watch your courses. If you clear local storage, your lesson progress will reset, but your access to your courses will not change.
Changes to this page
If we ever add cookies that are not needed for the site to work, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
